Holy shit, that looks dire.

Look at the great wisdom:

"I would recommend setting up a five year plan with milestones divided up into months and days. Using this technique you will constantly be feeling good and will be moving forward in a structured manner."

Right, well that's so original and inspired that we can all save our money by not paying for sodding "life-coaching" then, isn't it?    Dividing a period of years into months and days, eh?    Give the guy a Nobel prize at once.

And the wee parable of the kitten and the alley cat is as boke-inducing as any of the usual internet glurge.

Quote:
The Kitten and the Alley Cat

I heard this great parable from Dr Wayne Dyer. I love the message that happiness comes from within.

There is a little kitten and there is an old alley cat and they are out in the alleyway. The old cat saw the kitten chasing its tail and asked, Why are you chasing your tail?

To it the kitten replied, Ive been attending cat philosophy school and I have learned that the most important thing for a cat is happiness, and that happiness is my tail. Therefore, I am chasing it: and when I catch it, I shall have happiness forever.

Laughing, the old alley cat replied, My son, I wasnt lucky enough to go to school, but as Ive gone through life, I too have realized that the most important thing for a cat is happiness, and indeed that it is located in my tail. The difference Ive found though is that whenever I chase after it, it keeps running away from me, but when I go about my business and live my life, it just seems to follow after me wherever I go.

Or mibbe it's more like the old Francis Gay stuff in the "Sunday Post".   Either way, bokey, bokey bokey!      puke_l
