“CRAIC-ING CANCER” CONCERT - AberfeldyShameless plug!
Organisers of the upcoming “Craic-ing” Cancer Concert in Aberfeldy on Saturday July 25th are hoping the evening will be a sellout success, raising money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer and Breast Cancer 2000
Topping the bill are internationally-renowned singer and folklorist Margaret Bennett and Glasgow actress and comedienne Isobel Rutter.
Local folk duo Kenny “Crieftan” Graham and David “Dibble” Morton will be performing along with acoustic group The Wanton Pegs (Rebecca MacDonald, Martin Finnigan and Kenny Graham) who will open the proceedings.
Also appearing will be poet and storyteller Maria Cairnie and Aberfeldy and District Gaelic Choir. The evening’s entertainment will be stitched together by well-known wit, Alan Brown and will be held in the newly –refurbished Aberfeldy Town Hall on Saturday 25th July at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £10 and can be bought in advance by phoning 01887 820478 or 01887 830315. Some tickets may be available at the door on the night, but early booking would avoid disappointment.
