Something for everyone up and down the country.

I thought if you played in Beanscene you had to pay the establishment for the pleasure!   Is that the only way that the Homecoming session can be funded in Hawick?
Onny

As far as I'm aware the funding arrangements are the same for all venues.

Details from the musicians end are at

Quote:
Payment for each musician for each session will be £30 on the night from the venue and £30 from the TMSA National Office (£60 in total per musician per session).

Nice to know that musicians aren't funding others' pleasure in hearing them perform and are, in fact, being paid for it. Smilie_PDT

Thanks Onny.

Agreed. It ain't a lot of money (complaints in writing to Mike Russell) but at least there's a couple of quid in it.

It'd be good if some of the proceeds could be split amongst the 'non-lead' musicians - even in the form of a few beers.
Rid Sonja

Aye.  Sometimes a few beers do help wet the thrapple  after singing a few songs... Smilie_PDT

A few beers

Speaking of a few beers. The Three Judges at Partick Cross is having a Pale Ale Festival (till Sunday?).

Excellent and changing selection.
