Troubadour Blondel travel guitar for sale

http://www.troubadour.uk.com/?page_id=6

I picked one of these up from Ebay recently, with a view to converting it into a tenor guitar, but it's not going to work out - it's a nice little thing, but surplus to requirements. 50 and it's yours - drop me a line on tartanred@btinternet.com, if interested.

They need to work on their sales lines (and I suspect their guitars).  No way is Lime a really hard wood.  The reson that wood carvers (and I) use it is because it's relatively soft but holds its lines well.  On a list of instrument woods it should come way down the bottom.

You're right Steve - I've had to pull the sale, due to a slipping tuner on the top E, when I restrung it this afternoon. It may be a simple fix (I'm no luthier), but I wouldn't try and sell it in its current state - one of the perils of Ebay, I suppose.

But it does look pretty..... maybe that's a consolation? And it'll be a nice wee ornament on your wall...drunken

Don't you start - I'm getting enough grief from SWMBO as it is!  blackeye

You could always turn it upside doon and sail it on a wee boating pond....

If I had a boat, it would make quite a useful paddle - "pas de lieu Rhone que nous", as the French might say.  blackeye

If you had a boat, you'd go out on the ocean, and if you had a pony, you'd ride it on your boat.... albino  albino  albino

Ah, the multi-talented Mr Lovett - I used to play that, many moons ago.

For me, it was Iain MacIntosh's song - irrespective of who wrote it..I sing it sometimes, but Red Lornie does it better..
