...to at least two Scots lassies, amongst our brightest and our best, caught on the wrong side of the Atlantic today (I know Canada celebrated some weeks ago).

Thanks guys. I have to be honest and say I was a bit skeptical about this whole thanksgiving malarkey but I've changed my mind on that one.
Its by far the least commercial of the holidays in this great consumer obsessed country that is the USA and its a holiday that is not at all associated with any war - there's a lot to be said for that too.
Now if only I could find a Quorn roast, I'd be all set!

It started off as a celebration of the first settlers making it through their first winter but now its kind of expanded as a general time of reflection and being thankful for what you have.
